Renown's 15-inch guns remained dangerous to Bismarck

How would Renown's 15-inch guns fare against Bismarck?

They were considered capable of penetrating Bismarck and scoring damaging hits.

Renown's 15-inch guns are judged capable of penetrating Bismarck and causing significant damage. Differences between turret installations would not by themselves make the gun barrels ineffective against the German ship. The comparison rests on the continued effectiveness of British 15-inch armament during the Second World War. The accompanying recollection of a Renown engagement with a Littorio-class battleship is explicitly uncertain.
