A new quad Bofors or a reworked pom-pom?

Would an updated quadruple pom-pom be a suitable way to improve the anti-aircraft armament under discussion?

A quadruple Bofors would be acceptable; developing the newer weapon is preferred to rebuilding the old pom-pom concept.
