Question

Which mecha series do you prefer?

Short answer

Choices include Code Geass, Gundam SEED Destiny, BattleTech, Titanfall, and Pacific Rim, with a Pacific Rim supporter objecting to the sequel's depiction of the machines.

Notes

The choices include Code Geass, Gundam SEED Destiny, BattleTech, Titanfall, and Pacific Rim. Titanfall is nominated for its use of Titans, while the Pacific Rim preference leads to disagreement over the sequel and its connection to the anime. One participant objects to the second film's portrayal of the Jaegers' weight and presence. A joking explanation treats that film as an unreliable account whose depictions exaggerate what the machines can do. The preference therefore includes how convincingly large military machines convey their mass, alongside attachment to a particular series.
