Better Polish equipment leaves the two-front danger unresolved

Improved fighters and tanks could make Poland a harder target without removing its dangerous strategic position.

Notes

A delayed war allows Polish aviation and armoured forces to develop further. The estimate still favours a German victory over Poland, although the campaign need not repeat the historical one. Soviet intervention remains a separate possibility, partly dependent on whether fighting with Japan has ended. Germany's success and a Soviet attack are consequently related assumptions, rather than an automatic repeat of September 1939.
