Royal Navy expansion continued after Trafalgar

Compare fleet totals and the continuing mobilisation after Trafalgar, when Britain still expected another French attempt.

Notes

The Royal Navy's 1794 and 1814 totals show growth across several categories of warship. Third rates increased from 71 to 103, while the smaller sloops and brigs rose from 76 to 360. The fleet had already peaked around 1806 and was declining by the later comparison date. Ships continued coming out of ordinary and into commission after Trafalgar because Britain expected Napoleon to try again.
