Patron figures for electricians and military engineers

Which Greek god would be the patron of electricians?

Suggestions include Zeus, Hermes, Hestia and Hephaestus, without agreement on a single choice.

Zeus, Hermes, Hestia and Hephaestus are proposed as possible patrons for electricians. Hestia is identified with the hearth, while the other suggestions remain brief. Electrical trades also have Christian patron traditions connected with metalworking and military engineering. Saint Barbara is associated with sudden death, danger and protection from lightning. The metalworker saint's name is unclear in the captions, so that identification remains uncertain.
