Are warrant officers people whom even generals should listen to?
Short answerIgnoring the advice of a senior NCO is a very poor sign in any officer.
NotesA question about warrant officers' influence receives an emphatic answer about senior NCOs generally. An officer who ignores their advice gives a very poor sign of how they exercise command. Senior rank therefore does not remove the need to listen to experienced personnel below it.
