Northumberland's name passes between navies

The Northumberland captured at the Glorious First of June was a French-built successor carrying an earlier British prize's name.

Notes

France kept the name Northumberland after capturing a British ship. It later gave that name to a newly built 74. The Royal Navy captured the newer vessel at the Glorious First of June and called her HMS Northumberland. This was a different hull carrying a name inherited from the earlier British prize.
