The new battlecruisers could arrive in time for Jutland

Three 15-inch-gun battlecruisers could enter service after Dogger Bank but before Jutland, reshaping the Grand Fleet's fast wing and wartime building choices.

Notes

Ships ordered alongside the Queen Elizabeth programme would probably miss Dogger Bank and reach service before Jutland. With Queen Elizabeth-class fire control, three modern 15-inch-gun ships would join Tiger, Lion, Princess Royal, Queen Mary, and the surviving 12-inch types in a much stronger fast wing. Their arrival could leave the Queen Elizabeths with the Grand Fleet and move older battlecruisers to training or less decisive duties. Credible performance at Jutland would later give politicians a concrete wartime reason to retain fast capital ships.
