Muzio Attendolo serves off Spain and survives Unbroken

Muzio Attendolo entered service in 1935 and spent much of its prewar career around Spain during the Spanish Civil War. Like its sister's East Asian deployment, this stationing used a cruiser to protect Italian interests during an international crisis. Its wartime luck was worse than the martial fortune suggested by the Sforza name. HMS Unbroken torpedoed and severely damaged the cruiser, but Italian repair capacity returned it to service before a later air raid ended its career.
