Mussolini's Navy: A Reference Guide to the Regia Marina 1930-1945 collects plans, gun drawings, diagrams and photographs of Italian naval subjects. Alex Clarke recommends Maurizio Brescia's book particularly for its hand-drawn technical artwork and illustrations he had not seen in other books. The copy introduced here is a paperback reissue of a hardback published in 2012. The emphasis is on the visual detail available to readers studying Italian ships and weapons.
