From the video's 2021 perspective, Great White Fleet logic applied to expected Chinese and Indian carrier voyages and Britain's planned deployment to the Pacific. China could use a global carrier-group cruise as a prestige announcement, while India could demonstrate that it could deploy toward the Pacific and westward to train with European partners. Britain's voyage would advertise renewed global naval engagement after the Suez-era retrenchment. Images of a capable fleet arriving overseas can make a claim to global-power status more tangible than official statements and summit participation.
