Coordinating Sunburn and Silex attacks

Targeting information could bring Sunburn and Silex into similar practical engagement ranges, allowing a coordinated attack with different terminal threats.

Notes

Sunburn's stated reach of 250 kilometers does not establish the range at which a ship can identify and engage a target. Without information from distant sources, its practical engagement range could be closer to Silex's. A paired Udaloy and Sovremenny could then combine a heavy Sunburn strike with lighter missiles that also deliver torpedoes. That combination complicates the defender's response because the incoming weapons present different threats. Soviet task-group design seeks this mutual support at least on paper, with cruisers also depending heavily on their partners.
