How Million Voices resists capture

Million Voices is hijacked in dry dock and taken toward the Nietzschean-held Tartar system. The ship increases its artificial gravity and kills the boarding force rather than accepting capture. Its intelligence and the AIs of fifty other marooned High Guard ships then prove too difficult for the Nietzscheans to overcome. Four thousand general-utility androids and other robots show why a lightly crewed cruiser can still mount a powerful internal defence and continue functioning independently.
