Malta convoys beyond the famous three

Malta resupply cannot be reduced to a few famous convoy names. Siege pressure against an island made supply difficult without creating an absolute cutoff, and Operations Tiger and Splice open a view onto a much larger chain of movements. Hurry, White, Excess, Winch, Dunlop, Temple, Rocket, Tracer, and many other names reveal a sustained logistics campaign instead of three isolated emergencies. Ordinary convoy movement became a named operation when a dangerous or critical run received Force H or comparable heavy cover.
