Did France ever settle the proposed Lyon-class turret layout?

The surviving sources conflict: the Brassey's plan uses one layout while John Jordan presents another from a different source.

The displayed Lyon-class plan does not match the arrangement in John Jordan's work. The discrepancy remains unresolved because the image comes from a plan printed in Brassey's, while Jordan relies on another source. Neither drawing is treated as settled fact. Unbuilt designs can survive in several proposal states, so the provenance of each reconstruction matters.
