How close several first rates came to survival

The later careers of Queen Charlotte, Nelson, and Hibernia show how long some wooden first rates survived before they were broken up.

Notes

The second HMS Queen Charlotte was launched in 1810, renamed HMS Excellent in 1860, and broken up in 1892. HMS Nelson, launched in 1814, survived until 1928. HMS Hibernia was launched in 1804, escorted the Portuguese royal family to Brazil, and was broken up in 1902. All three remained long after their original fighting careers, though none survives today.
