Question

Which books are useful for learning about the Littorio-class battleships?

Short answer

Use the Italian battleship series by Erminio Bagnasco and Augusto de Toro, including its dedicated Littorio-class volume.

Notes

The recommended series is Erminio Bagnasco and Augusto de Toro's work on Italian battleships. The displayed volume covers the Conte di Cavour and Andrea Doria classes, while another volume covers the Littorio class. The same authors' cruiser work provides a broader view of Italian design practice. Together, the books offer a coherent specialist treatment rather than an isolated general history.
