Liberty trucks depended on road building and labour units

Standardized trucks required an extensive road and labour system to deliver supplies at scale.

Notes

The Standard B Liberty truck illustrates American adoption of motorized logistical movement. Large numbers of trucks still needed usable roads and work to expand transport capacity. The American force could commit substantial labour resources to those tasks. John Bull also identifies army segregation as part of how that labour was assigned and says it damaged the force in other ways.
