The Jablo blade used veneers about 0.6 millimetres, or 1/42 inch, thick and of varying lengths. Resin glue was interleaved with the veneers to build boards with 69 plies at the root and 48 at the tip. The assembly was pressed to a uniform thickness while the temperature gradually rose to a maximum of about 280 degrees Fahrenheit. The boards were then profiled and glued together. Machine carving established the blade's shape before final carving by hand, combining machine work with manual finishing.

Laminating and shaping the Jablo blade
The Jablo example uses many thin veneer layers, heat and pressure, then machine and hand shaping to produce a propeller blank.
