Marlborough holds station after a torpedo hit

Marlborough continued in the battle line despite torpedo damage, while British divisions passed Invincible's wreck.

Notes

Marlborough was struck by a torpedo at 6:54 p.m. in the account read from The Jutland Scandal. The damaged Wiesbaden is identified as its probable source. Although the hit reduced Marlborough's maximum speed, she kept her place in the battle line for several hours. British divisions then passed Invincible's wreck, with the bow and stern above water and the broken middle of the ship on the seabed.
