The preferred ship is more ambitious than the game can comfortably reproduce: fifteen 14-inch guns, roughly 26 knots, and five or six twin 6-inch turrets on each side. The reconstruction uses a battlecruiser hull capable of 28 knots to show that a 26-knot hull is feasible, although the machinery and protection would make the battleship expensive. It would enlarge dockyard and canal requirements and intensify pressure on every competing navy. Germany in particular would face the cost of enlarging the Kiel Canal for a still larger generation of capital ships. The design aims for a Warrior-over-Gloire demonstration that restores Britain as the unquestioned reference point.

The ideal answer carries fifteen 14-inch guns
The mature concept combines five triple 14-inch turrets, about 26 knots, and a much larger 6-inch battery to overmatch Italy decisively.
