HMS Warrior's living-history programme uses actors as members of the ship's company. A visitor recalls unsuccessfully trying to draw a gunner-officer character called Jellicoe out of his role. Different characters describe shipboard features from the viewpoints of their duties and station. Their contrasting perspectives make the preserved ship's working life part of the visit.
