HMS President survives as a member of the World War I Flower family and is probably the last of the type. Built as the Anchusa-class sloop HMS Saxifrage, she later became the Royal Naval Reserve drill ship President on the Thames. Another possible survivor, Chatham, was scrapped in 1995, which leaves the conclusion about President appropriately qualified. Her survival connects the mass-produced escort program to a hull that can support preservation and interpretation rather than existing only in plans and photographs.
