Dreadnought's larger battery worked in combination with her speed. At 21 knots, she could outrun many older battleships and choose a range at which her heavy salvo was effective. A single pre-dreadnought could not match that combination, and the video suggests that two or three older ships might be needed to answer her firepower. Restricted waters could narrow the speed advantage, while a highly practiced crew with detailed local knowledge could still score dangerous hits from an older ship.
