Scimitars train from Hermes with U.S. aircraft

Scimitars of 803 Naval Air Squadron operated from HMS Hermes while training and working with American aircraft. The American aircraft and exercise are not identified, so the scale of that cooperation remains unclear. Even so, the passage places the type in an allied training setting beyond domestic squadron operations. It also shows that Scimitar units continued active fleet work across several carriers despite the accident record.
