A smaller version of the Halo weapon is proposed for use aboard ships. It could move between infected planets and attack infected vessels instead of firing across the entire galaxy. The proposal assumes the effect of the rings could be applied on a smaller scale. It questions the need for universal destruction without establishing that such a weapon exists or would contain the Flood.
