What could replace Graf Zeppelin's 6-inch guns if they were removed during construction?
Short answerThe weight and space could support more 88 mm weapons or other useful carrier equipment.
NotesRemoving the 6-inch battery would release weight for additional guns elsewhere, especially 88 mm weapons. The freed space could also be used for other purposes, although no detailed replacement arrangement is specified.
