Naval Strike Missile, counter-drone weapons, and a DragonFire module

The proposed future fits include twenty-four Sea Ceptors with extra guns and a DragonFire module incorporating energy storage, while command-system integration remains necessary.

Notes

A Naval Strike Missile module would still need computer changes and integration with the ship's command system. In a drone-heavy deployment, a Type 45 could take twenty-four Sea Ceptors and two 3-inch guns, with Goalkeeper or possibly Phalanx as other options. DragonFire could also be designed around a StanFlex module. Its supporting equipment would need to provide energy storage, with generation treated separately. The 76 mm gun modules already allow inspection and maintenance access to their magazines. These possibilities depend on designing the weapon and its supporting equipment for the available space.
