Full-circle coverage and target switching

A target-switching example explains why a mount can cover every bearing yet still need a long traverse between two targets, supporting a preference for more mounts.

Notes

A mount can cover a full circle without being able to rotate continuously through every bearing. If the recalled AK-630 traverse limit is correct, changing targets across a travel limit would require the gun to return around the longer arc. Full-circle coverage alone does not guarantee a short traverse between engagements. Sufficient mounts are proposed as a way to reduce the practical importance of that limitation. The preferred outfit is again at least three AK-630 systems, alongside the separate preference for three 76 mm guns.
