Why the British Eastern Fleet deserves attention

What would be your dream historical documentary project?

World War II destroyers and the largely forgotten British Eastern Fleet would be the preferred project.

World War II destroyers, especially their service with the British Eastern Fleet, are proposed as an ideal documentary subject. Even the British Pacific Fleet and the Fourteenth Army are better remembered than the Eastern Fleet. That neglect hides the naval work supporting the wider Indian Ocean and Southeast Asian war. A focused treatment would connect individual destroyer operations to a theatre whose logistics and strategy are usually pushed outside popular narratives.
