Notes

A check of the Force Z destroyer roster does not find a Tribal-class ship. The force instead included E-, H-, and L-class vessels alongside older First World War-era destroyers. Legion is singled out as the largest and most powerful destroyer in the group. A later correction traces some of the confusion to reused ship names, including HMAS Vampire.
