Flower-class hulls served navies and civil operators around the world

Individual Flower-class careers show the design moving among Allied navies, Arctic operations, convoy protection, and postwar civilian work.

Notes

Several ships show how widely the class circulated through Allied service. Renamings and transfers linked British construction with Canadian, Norwegian, Belgian, and other wartime needs, while duties extended from convoy escort to northern bases and coastal protection. Some survivors later became research or civilian vessels, illustrating how a simple, adaptable hull could acquire a long life far beyond its emergency origins.
