How could robots fight the Flood if it can take over AI and computers?

Simpler robots under remote control are proposed, but a further objection says even basic logic systems can be compromised.

The proposed machines would use a central controller, compared with battle droids in Star Wars, instead of independent sophisticated AI. Encryption and controlled communications are suggested as safeguards. A viewer then objects that the Flood can override even basic logic systems. That leaves the proposal unproven and raises a further question about the AI used within the Halo installations themselves.
