Where researchers find reliable warship plans

Where can a researcher find trustworthy warship blueprints and plans?

Start with specialist ship-modeling references, then use collections at Greenwich or Kew for authoritative plans, while expecting access and reproduction costs.

Free blueprint websites are considered an unreliable route to good-quality warship plans. Specialist books, including the Pen and Sword series shown in the video, are suggested as a better starting point. Design records are also located in the Greenwich collection at Woolwich and The National Archives at Kew. Reproduction costs lead to a separate proposal about access after digitization.
