Britain and France would still need forces near Germany and Italy while their main mobile strength fought Japan. Dunkerques and modernised Queen Elizabeths could remain in the Mediterranean with older carriers. Nelson and Rodney, perhaps reinforced by King George V, would provide Home Fleet strength against Germany. Lions, available King George V-class ships, Vanguards, and battlecruisers would form much of the force sent east. These are suggested deployments, with the remaining European fleets sized around the threats they still face.

A Pacific deployment still leaves fleets guarding Europe
Older carriers and selected capital ships could watch Germany and Italy while much of the modern Anglo-French fleet fought Japan.
