Chapter · 1:58:14-2:00:30

Port deployments close both ends of the English Channel

Reinforcements, mine-sweeping capacity, reconnaissance, and port control are combined to blockade the English Channel before war with France.

Notes

New light cruisers reinforce the main fleet as tension with France rises. Minesweeping capacity, reconnaissance, supply, and control radius are checked alongside ship numbers. A Portsmouth formation covers one end of the English Channel, while ships at Dover move to close the other. Within the scenario, port placement and local support turn the Channel into an operational barrier.
