Chapter ยท 1:05:34-1:08:24

Why the enemy general becomes the primary target

A steady infantry advance is used to eliminate an enemy three-star general before his army can become a more serious threat.

Notes

With no opposing artillery, the redcoat infantry remain concentrated. Their steady line advance frustrates an attempted pincer and brings the entire formation toward the enemy commander. The three-star general becomes the explicit target of a decapitation strike. Removing an experienced commander prevents him from organizing a more proficient army later, so campaign-level command value outweighs merely taking ground in one battle.
