Chapter · 3:10:52-3:21:17

Motorised volunteers as military diplomacy

Japan sends four motorised divisions and an attaché to Britain, using military assistance to support the Allies and strengthen diplomatic ties.

Notes

Once the scenario permits volunteer forces, four Japanese motorised divisions deploy to help defend the United Kingdom. The formation receives high equipment priority, maintenance support, and anti-aircraft support for its role as a mobile reserve. The troops offer immediate fire support while gaining training and experience without committing Japan to a full national war. Together with the attaché and continued improvements in relations, the deployment turns limited military assistance into an instrument of Allied diplomacy.
