Crewed warships and adaptable uncrewed sloops

A future ship larger than a destroyer could resemble earlier arsenal-ship proposals while carrying the defensive weapons needed to remain a sustainable warship. The earlier arsenal concept is characterized as a missile truck that delivers extra rounds. In this forecast, crewed ships form the center of task forces and uncrewed craft supply much of their mass. The suggested name for those adaptable craft is sloop, drawing on the historical use of that name for vessels fitted to circumstances.
