The photograph places a County-class cruiser near British armour being sent from Liverpool to Alexandria. The unit is called the 1st Armoured Brigade and then the 1st Armoured Division, so its exact identification needs the caption checked. The image supplies a brief naval connection to the overseas movement of armoured vehicles.
