Coreopsis is an outstanding example of a First World War Q-ship. Concealed armament supported her employment as a decoy. She served with the Grand Fleet and in the Mediterranean, and operated from Gibraltar under the false names Bursley and Biggo. She was sold for breaking up in 1922, after a wartime career that helped define the Royal Navy's later sloop concept.
