HMS Coreopsis, the Flower-class sloop, should be distinguished from the naval drifter Coreopsis II. The drifter took part in a destroyer-led submarine sinking off northern Britain. The submarine is tentatively identified as UB-85. The location is also described hesitantly, with northern England corrected to somewhere near Scotland.
