War with Russia did not end Danish-British trade

The attack helped bring war with Russia, yet Britain appears to have tolerated that consequence while trade with Denmark continued.

Notes

The Copenhagen operation helped produce a war with Russia, though the interpretation is that Britain cared little about that consequence. There are also indications that trade between Denmark and the United Kingdom continued before, during, and after the crisis. Formal conflict did not amount to a complete political and economic rupture. Naval coercion and commercial exchange could continue at the same time even as the Baltic conflict widened.
