The game converts capital-ship displacement directly into invasion support, and southern Russia requires only 60,000 tons. One very large battleship can nearly satisfy that figure by itself, while the four-ship squadron supplies roughly 300,000 tons. The same force gives both Crimea and southern Russia a reported 100 percent chance of invasion success. Concentrated displacement therefore simplifies the amphibious requirement and rewards exceptionally large capital ships beyond their tactical value.
