Brassey's and Jane's have distinct strengths, weaknesses, perspectives, and types of content. Some projects call for the detail in Jane's, while others benefit more from Brassey's broader discussions and chronicle material. Using both can provide a richer view because their differences expose distinct emphases and editorial choices. For a shorter project, the researcher should match the source to the question instead of treating the titles as equivalent.
