Chaf-class destroyers and mixed technology in Thrawn's Revenge

What does Dragon think of the Chaf-class destroyer and other Empire of the Hand ships in Thrawn's Revenge?

Dragon favors the Chaf class and the fleet's combination of Imperial and Chiss technology, emphasizing support capability in the Unknown Regions and attention to threats such as fighters.

Dragon identifies the Chaf class as a favorite among the Empire of the Hand ships, despite disliking a change to its game model. The praise centers on support characteristics suited to operating in the Unknown Regions while remaining competitive with major galactic powers. The fictional force has fewer ships, but some designs are judged better in particular respects. Combining Imperial technology with Chiss systems such as breacher missiles provides options against fighters and unfamiliar threats. The comparison concerns how a smaller fleet combines available technologies to meet its operating conditions.
