Reconstructing Caracciolo protection and secondary weapons

Six-inch and four-inch guns, eight torpedo tubes, a twelve-inch belt, and later radar form the historically anchored core of an imagined modernization.

Notes

The reconstruction uses the planned secondary battery and eight torpedo tubes to retain the ship's original offensive character. A twelve-inch main belt and sixteen-inch conning-tower protection anchor the armour scheme, while the deck is thickened to represent a later modernization. The turtleback citadel is treated as consistent with the historical design. Italian access to early fire-control radar is included, although the game's available parts make the completed ship an approximation.
