Byzantium, Constantinople and Istanbul

The city's successive names connect the First Balkan War's Constantinople with the Istanbul shown on modern maps.

Notes

Byzantium was the city's Greek name until 330 AD, after which it was called Constantinople. The change to Istanbul is dated to 1930. Constantinople is therefore the historical name for the First Balkan War setting. Modern maps label the same city Istanbul, so the names refer to the same place when following the Dardanelles geography.
