Which Halo ship would be the best choice to fight the Galactic Empire?

A Covenant supercarrier is favoured over most UNSC choices because of its weapons and scale. Forerunner options are considered overwhelmingly capable, although their inclusion makes the comparison less interesting to the participants.

The fictional matchup pits a single Halo ship against the Empire from Star Wars, with the Composer excluded. A Punic-class UNSC carrier offers a powerful MAC weapon, internal capacity for four frigates and a substantial complement of strike craft. One participant objects that Imperial shields would negate much of the UNSC's firepower and favours Covenant technology. A CSO-class supercarrier offers plasma torpedoes, plasma lances and an excavation beam intended to reach buried Forerunner ruins. Its ability to damage a planet is the basis for proposing the beam against large metal ships. Forerunner options receive a separate objection: their exceptional capabilities would make the contest uninteresting. A relatively small Forerunner vessel is compared with Star Trek's Defiant even though its stated length exceeds ten kilometres.
